Very special dual sided olla maidens Hand carved from fossilized ivory (a walrus tooth) with turquoise, apple coral and lapis inlays. Rhoda was Lynn Quam's sister, and both Lynn and Rhoda learned their art as children from their mother award winning jeweler and carver Annie Gasper. Rhoda worked closely with Annie until Annie passed away in 2002. Rhoda learned to carve corn maidens from Faye Quandelacy, it's hard to tell their work apart.
